Beef and Broccoli is a collaboration between Violet Says 5 front man Ethan Spalding, and Maryland producer/emcee Awthentik. With Awthentik producing virtually every beat and Ethan Spalding creating virtually every chorus, this album is surely set to be a classic in the eyes of hiphop heads and music lovers all over the world.
Both emcees primarily work with instrumentation when performing live with their respective bands, so the live element is present on this project like no other. With Exclusive features from Studio 43's Jayne Kennedi, 368's Philadaphuture, High Definition Society's Laelo and more, the DMV fundamental sound shines right through.
When asked about the title of "Beef and Broccoli" and its origin, Ethan Spalding responded "We're mixing styles...We're mixing tree.... We Eatin ... it's Beef and Broccoli"
